Guiding Since 2015
Blue Ridge Bicycle Tours was founded in 2015 by Andy and Saul, two lifelong cyclists who had spent years riding roads and trails across the United States. Along the way, one thing became increasingly clear: the Blue Ridge Parkway and the surrounding Central Virginia landscape rank among the best cycling destinations in the country.
With sweeping views, quiet back roads, challenging climbs, and hidden gravel routes, the region offered something truly special, yet it remained largely undiscovered by visiting cyclists. We started Blue Ridge Bicycle Tours to change that.
What began as a way to share our personal favorite routes quickly grew into a community-driven experience built around local knowledge, thoughtful planning, and a shared love of riding. Today, BRBT is supported by an outstanding team of local guides, a mix of longtime residents, university students, and dedicated cycling enthusiasts, each bringing their own perspective and passion to every ride.
Our goal has remained the same from day one: to create memorable, well-supported cycling experiences that showcase the very best of the Blue Ridge region.
